Hey just bought my first bronco but having some trouble getting it to start.

first I took the starter off and had it tested, it was fine so I bought a relay solenoid put it on nothing.(I can jump it and it will crank right up.)

I cleaned all the electrical connections I could get to, still nothing

I was wondering if any of you have come across this problem before? is there any way it could be a relay in the fuse panel

when I turn the key on everything comes on fine as normal but once I go to crank it up everything shuts off. once I stop trying to crank it everything (radio, lights, instruments) comes back on.

Thanks for any input I'm lost!

Ditto, clean battery terminals and check the negative cable from the battery to engine and frame.  If any corrosion where lugs connect to cable, replace the cable.  Also could be the neutral safety switch located on the side of the transmission.
