1989 Bronco fuel gage pinned fast full

Hello i just bought a 1989 Bronco and the fuel gage is pinned past the full mark, i was looking at older threads about it being stuck below empty but couldn't find any thing about them being stuck past full?  Any help would be amazing

It's the opposite problem of being stuck on empty.  In both cases it is a wiring problem, one is an open circuit and the other is a short.
