A bit odd request maybe and I am scouring the info that has previously been shared with me before, for the information. However I am trying to figure out how the place I took the Bronco to to be fixed only decided to replace the sway bar brackets and bushings and not the links or the bar itself? The link bolt on the DS pierced the front shock (quad) and the PS front shock got smashed in by the link bolt and to me the links seem treaked towards the right

It did not feel the same in some corners I have here by the house. So I'd like to confirm the measurements before I release the insurance company.

I really need to go have the tires replaced and the wheels checked to be sure nothing was damaged there as well. I realize it might be a fight since I chose the shop it went to, but I did request they be checked. I think it comes down to most places just don't work on these.

What exactly happened here RR?  Was the truck in a front end collision? If so, did the shocks get pierced in the collision or did this happen after a repair?

More info would be helpful. If this happened after a repair it is obvious the repair was not done well.

Sorry for the delay,

She got hit sideswiped at the LF tire bumper and neff bar, it dove me into the right curb then both of us back into the Dodge he swerved into my lane to miss. The left sway bar link bolt bunched a hole in the front shock and the RS sway bar bolt head smashed in the RF shock. The shop only replaced the mount bushings and brackets. Don't see how there could have been that much movement and no damage to the sway bar links.

I'm surprised the insurance is not hounding me to sign a release. I did get her new shoes on Thursday so much quieter and smoother ride.

There has to be more front end damage that has possibly twisted or bent the frame. The front end should be checked for a bent component and after the repair, if needed then aligned. The alignment readings (pre-adjustment)  will give a good indication if something is out of place. At the least the sway bar links and bushings have to be replaced and the bar centered.

No it bent the center link, tierod ends and stripped the gearbox all of that was replaced. It was aligned and is almost dead on. Can't get it perfect due to weak frt springs, so I'm trying to decide if I want to replace the springs or lift her 4", I am loving the AT tires, so quite and smooth riding.

Heck with the AC charged now, I'm in tall cotton!

That would have been great info to have at the beginning.....perhaps the sway bar was not installed properly by the repair facility. It can be loosened and moved a bit side to side.

I guess,  "...in tall cotton" = something good?
