I dont get the forums as often as Id like, but I love my car hobby
and Broncos have always been near the top of my list of favs to own.

In the last 6 months I bought a Chrome Yellow 72, and a 78 Bronco that
had the factory Free-Wheelin pkg too. Both had original paint still on them
and where drivers. Im lucky to live in the desert area where off-roading is
a way of life for alot of people and most of our Broncos from the area
no matter how old, are all rust free survivors.
To make room for some new projects, I sold my last 2 Broncos, but couldnt

pass up this 1985 XLT I found over the weekend. Also still wearing its the
original paint, has a few bumps and dents, but overall a really nice driver.

Previous owner did aprox a 4" lift, new axles (and I think a gear change)
some 33x12.50s/ Under the hood is mostly stock and original, other then
the Edelbrock carb and intake from what I can tell. Still one of my favorite

years to own. Hopefully I can keep it for a while, but I plan on enjoying it  as
long as its in the herd..

Congrats. I just bought an '85 and onlly hope it will look as good as yours one day. I have replaced the brake light, had it aligned, replace dimmer switch and am working on A/C. Found out that it had not been retrofitted to accept 134. My next goal is to work on the electric windows that do not function. Here in Texas air conditioning is mandatory.  But this is your post, I'd like to follow what you do to yours.

Nice truck there 007!

I'm new to Bronco ownership & loving it! Here 'down under' I've picked up a stock Bronc I call 'Red.' She runs a 351 C with C6 auto. In time she'll receive a lift & decent tyres.image.jpgimage.jpg

These Broncos are sea worthy as well. How else would it wind up in Australia?  You and I are both newbies with 85s. Keep in touch.
