I have a 1985 Bronco, 351 Windsor, C-6 tranny,  it had a Carter Competition series carb that was worn out.  I replaced with an Edlebrock model 1405.  At the suggestion of the Tech at Jegs I also purchased Edelbrock 350-1483 and 350-1491.  The 1483 allows the kickdown lever to be attached to the throttle arm on the carb.  This part went on very easy and the kickdown lever attached, just needs to be adjusted.  My problem is the 1491 which is supposed to re-locate the stock throttle cable bracket to align with the carb throttle arm. (I hope I am using the correct terminology for the parts).

I cannot figure the configuration for this part and the stock bracket.

Any thoughts or has anybody found a different part that actually works?

Thanks for any ideas.

I bought a similar bracket to put on my 460 and had to enlongate two holes to make it work,I presume there are different brackets for the 429/460 and the small blocks but sounds like someone got something wrong designing them.
