So I just lifted my 87 302 6" with a rough ccountry kit. Haven't installed stabalizers in front yet. Aligned it yesterday. When backing up pass tire turns out when going straight and drags. Drivers tire stays straight. Once put in drive and moved forward tires straighten out. Any luck on replacing tie rods and ball joints fixing this?

Any good alignment tech would check all the steering and suspension parts prior to performing an alignment.  I would first advise to not return to that shop.

Your description speaks of a serious problem. You need to safely raise the truck, and support it on jack stands and examine things for the failed part/s. Move the wheels up, down, in , out. Use a long bar to pry up from the underside of the tire. ( be careful it doesn't spin) and look for play in any part.

Tie rods sound like the most likely problem. However the problem being as severe as you say, there can be a number of issues.

Something this bad would indicate the Bronc shouldn't be driven until it's sorted out.

Good Luck
