Hi All,

My 95 5.8L Bronco does NOT have the ABS fuse in the fuse panel to the left of steering wheel, fuse panel guide says ABS F model only.

Does anyone know the location of the ABS fuse for the 95 5.8?

I need to disable ABS temporarily until I can get it in the shop next week for various repairs including new wheel speed sensors

Thanks in advance

yo TJ,

look at Froggmann's article on ABS Cutoff Switch for 93-96 Bronco @ http://web.archive.org/web/20080907030336/http://www.froggmann.com/Bronco/Tech/ABS.htm

EXCERPT "... Take the fuse out of the second from the bottom (fender side) left hand side socket. This disables the brain of the ABS computer. Put the fuse aside..."

Miesk5 Note; in below diagram, this Fuse B 920 amp)is labelled 4 WABS Relay #1

In Power Distribution Box (PDB); the PDB is Located under the hood on the drivers side fender well, behind the stock air cleaner location. See http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/Wd/DownloadPdf?id=46677

Cab Fuse Panel in your Bronco @ http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/Wd/DownloadPdf?id=46678

Where is the Fuse "ABS F model only?

I guess ypu'll write a note and tape to dash letting shop know that 4WABS is disabled and giving them the fuse.

Hi Miesk

Thank You

Where is the Fuse "ABS F model only?

There is no fuse, that was where I was confused.

Slot 15 in the fuse panel next to steering wheel is empty in 95 bronco and the guide on the pull-off panel says slot 15 (20 amp) "Anti Lock Brakes (F-Series only)" ...(sorry I put "F model" before by mistake)

Thanks again for your help , you always come through, thank you

yo tg,

YW!

Ok, no probelmo; F series use #15 for their Rear Wheel ABS system

http://www.diesel-dave.com/vehic/manual/stj/stj69a14.htm

btw, My 96s Owners Guide shows a diff diagram than what is actually in in the Fuse Panel' Ford made some Fuse Panel & PDB changes in 96 PDB went to all Numerical fuse Numbering; whereas prior year(s) were All Alpha
