Replacing ash trays with cupholders

Okay, to anyone who's an expert or has done a similar project, feel free to help me out here. In my 85' XLT I have stock ash trays for the second row of seats. I am looking to take them out and put cup holders in place instead. Does anyone know how I'd go about doing this? I know how to take the ash trays out already, I just need to know how to do the next step. Any ideas?

I was thinking of saving the ashtray w/tilt mech and getting another just for its tilt mechanism and adding a cup holder to the mechanism... or removing ashtray if screwed-into panel; and adding somethAng HD and neat such a;

I was actually looking at those on Amazon, and I think i'm gonna go in that direction. There is also some fold up ones that would look pretty good too.
