I can't see any reason why not. It just depends on how skilled you are at making modifications to your door. You probably will have to put some sort to reinforcement where you mount the new mirrors and do some minor body work to plug a couple of old holes. Another approach is to go to a junk yard and check out as door with paddle mirrors and take the hardware from there or the entire door. All Bronco and F series doors are interchangeable from 80 to 96 by changing the inside door panels.
I just replaced my doors from a 89 which has the orginal style mirrors on it, I am going to put mirrors from a 92-96 which i already have. Just need to cut the hole in the door skin so that it can mount to the inside of the door. Then just do so minor welding and grinding on the 2 lower holes, primer and paint. Not to hard to do.
