Is it possiable to take the upper intake from say a 94 Ford Mustang 5.0 with the single port throttle body to use on my 5.0 Bronco.

I am looking to upgrade my throttle body and i find a lot more in the single port type versus the twin like on the trucks.

Also if and when i upgrade the throttle body do i have to increase the flow rate or upgrade my injectors to match the throttle body need?

By the lack of replies i figure nobody has thought or have tried this.

So my other option i am thinking would be to track down the intake of say a Lighting truck.  i know these trucks have a better motor option than my truck.

99 Escalade 6.0L Installation in a 95

Ok I have seen the installs for the twin tube intakes but never for the singles, it's really simple, so here goes:

***It was late so I didn't get measurements but I can post up whatever you want upon request***

First off, I got a filter for a '99 Escalade 6.0L. It has the hole for the O2 sensor and is plenty big for a 5.8

order for it to work you will need to machine a stack that the filter clamps onto and that will bolt up to the MAF sensor housing. I used a 3/4 chunk of alum, 2 holesaws and a lathe to chamfer it and a mill for the 4 bolt holes. (I'm sure a drill press will work fine too)

In the bottom of this picture you can see the aluminum bracket that holds the MAF housing to the coolant tank holder (technical term)

Now you could stick with the factory air tube like I did for a while or you could find some pipe and make a cooler looking one like I have now. 3.5" dia. pipe, painted it, added the sticker. I got the silicone black things at a hardware store and have no idea what they're called, but they came with the hose clamps.
