Every time I hit about 25 mph I get a clicking/rattling sound in the front right tire. It stops when I turn or hit the brakes. Could it be the hub? Anyone else had this problem?

Yes.., the hub is a good suspect. (didn't your brother just have the front hubs, etc. apart..?)

Are those auto hubs or manual locking hubs?  Clicking has the "ear-markings" of a faulty hub or improper assembly.

Could be trying to engage or disengage.

Another possibility is a bad u-joint on the axle.

He just replaced the calipers and brake pads. He's going to take a look at it on Thursday.

Hey b2,

If the problem started only after the brake job, you could have a pad or pads clicking in the calipers. Especially if the rotors were not turned.

The pads should have "antisqueel" or "Pad cement" on the metal backs, and the clips should hold the pads firm to the caliper.

Worth checking since you will be getting into it.

Good Luck
