Hey everyone, finally got the bronco home. The knock seemed pretty deep in the motor however when I removed the oil pan I found the rod bearings were loose. I'm still debating on trying to rebuild this motor or get a whole different one. I'm not sure of any other possible damages in the motor yet. Need advice on if I should rebuild this one, get a different one used, or even a brand new one. Anyone's I site would be helpful and if you know of any sites etc that sells what I would need cheaper id like to know. Thanks guys!

If you decide to rebuild it yourself, I'd recommend that you have a shop do the crank and balance. While you are at it, you could have it bored out a little, ported and polished, head surface ground nice and flat, etc.

Good luck with your project,

:)>-

Does anyone know if I can purchase a low profile oil pan that will come off without having to remove the motor?
