yo D,

WELCOME!

try a Self Test for Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)s by my pal, BroncoJoe19

http://broncozone.com/topic/14269-code-reader/?&pid=74587&mode=threaded

The engine temperature must be greater than 50° F for the Key On Engine Off (KOEO) Self-Test and greater than 180° F for the Key On Engine Running (KOER) Self-Test.
Run it around to heat the engine up and shift thru all gears incl Reverse. Then turn off all accessories/lights, etc.

Make sure A/C is off and transmission is in Park (automatic) or in Neutral for a Manual & release clutch.

Do Key On Engine Off (KOEO) portion first..

And Post em here according to:
KOEO
&
KOER

I don't have one, but there should be one under the hood.  Usually it is located on the radiator support or on the underside of the hood.

Good luck,

:)>-

yo DK,

Get your Vacuum Diagrams & Calibration Parts List in the Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) Decal, for 88 & UP.
On-Line for Free at Ford.
Click "Quick Guides" in left panel;
Scroll to & CLICK VECI Labels "Provides Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) and a related calibration parts list."
Enter applicable info (need to know your Calibration number from your B-pillar sticker).
Vacuum Diagram is the same as the one on the core support or hood or air filter cover.
Source: by Ford @ http://www.motorcraftservice.com

This diagram does Not include the HVAC sys vacuum operated doors, etc.

"...In 92-96, The air handling system is designed to provide defrost when no vacuum is applied to any of the three air door vacuum motors. This is done to prevent a situation where defrost cannot be obtained due to a system vacuum leak. Instead, a leak in the vacuum control circuit will send all airflow to the defroster outlets. This condition may occur during acceleration (slow leak), may exist at all times (large leak) and may happen only when certain specific functions are selected, indicating a leak in that portion of the circuit. ..." from F-150, F-250, F-350, F-Super Duty and Bronco, F-Super Duty Motorhome Chassis Workshop Manual

got hold of a diagram...

but when I went to the site It didn't have my calibration.

and I thought I might have read it wrong but it wasn't there and I tried it for different years too and it wasn't on there.

but I got one.

there is 1 hose missing and 1 that has a big hole in it, so I will fix that and then I will try the self diagnostics.

thanks miesk5

yo D,

great!

Ford issued this TSB for 92 Broncos, etc.

EEC IV 5.0L 49 State & High Altitude Calibration Conversion (EEC IV Processor Change) TSB 92-16-9 for 92 Bronco, Econoline, F 150 & F 250

http://www.revbase.com/BBBMotor/TSb/DownloadPdf?id=35160

It is a pdf file

Ford knew they were discontinuing Bronco production in 96 so  they often did not update TSBs for following years.

see if your Cal # is in this TSB for future use such as Part Numbers.
