I have a 79 full size Bronco with a ignition problem. I will turn the key and the engine will crank and fire but the instant I let go of the key the engine will die. I have replaced the solenoid, ignition switch/key & tumbler.

You probably need to do the adjustment procedure to the switch which is located on top of the steering column. See this post: http://broncozone.com/topic/7243-ignition-switch-adjustment-proceedure/
