I locked in my hubs in 4W low 2 weeks ago...no problem. Had 20" of snow last week, and locked hubs in again. Had to have a Chevy pull me home...humiliation at its best! The front drive shafts were rotating, but the wheels were not...any suggestions?

Unclear....? 2 weeks ago, how did you know the front was driving/pulling in 4x4..?
Also.., unclear, what do you mean by (plural) "front driveshafts"..?? RU refering to the two axles that run to ea. wheel..,
-or- the one driveshaft from the transfer case to the differential..?
The latter sounds like the hubs are stuck/frozen/dirty & not locking onto the axleshafts.
Is the shifter for sure in 4x4...? Is the linkage in good shape..?
Were the "rear" wheels not driving as well...?
(not sure why you had to be towed..??)

Top Gun, Should have been more clear...both axles, and drive shaft to transfer case are fully operational. Both rear wheels were spinning also. Two weeks ago it was no doubt all was working. I had it in 4W low, it was ready to climb a tree!...no mistake when these babies are locked in 4W low or high!

I used to repack the bearings on the '68 routinely...just wondering if this may be the cause of my problems? Secondly, are the Warn hubs better than the Ford stock hubs, and if so, which ones should be used on this 1970 Bronco with front disc brakes? Thanks to all!

Thanks to all!IMHO all the manual locking hubs are good..., assuming they're clean, properly greased, assembled correctly, & all the parts are up to spec.
I still have orig. Ford locking hubs. If I ever have issues & can't find Ford parts, I'll likely get Warn or Mile-Marker.
Find out what discs (& front axle) you have. It's not stock as discs didn't come out 'til later
Eons ago, folks adapted GM disc parts on their rigs.
Some (newer Ford) kits fit D-44. Some fit both D-30 & D-44.
Check me but I think hubs are the same part # on both these kits. Maybe even the same on the GM conversion.
If you fill-in your info. pages (see mine left & below), it's much easier to get accurate help here.
