Hey, I am wanting to purchase a High Energy Comp Cam, and I plan on buying all the goodies that come with it too. There is a Comp Cam kit, which comes with most of the stuff, the Rollers/ Rockers, and the Push Rods.

My question to everyone is the Push rods part number is 7832-16 with a small 8 in the corner, and according to the book, the 8 represents they only fit certain years. Does anyone know if it would fit in my 79 Ford Bronco 400 motor.

Thanks for your help

I may need to clarify myself a little bit better. I want to purchase this comp Cam Kit #K32-219-3 and the Roller Arm kit that is recommended is #1411-16.

Here is a small problem I am facing. The Push Rods that are recommended fit only certain years #7832-16. I Contacted Comp Cams, and he gave me a new number for Stock Push rods #7837-16, but he was also saying I need to measure the way the Roller Arms rotate to tell me what length I need.

Now has anyone ever bought this kit, and if so, how did you get the right length, or did you just buy the recommended ones.
