Just bought my first Bronco, it is an 1985. Has what the seller claimed was a rebuilt 302 Jasper in it. Has a newish Edlebrock carburetor, but from the looks of it, not much else was rebuilt. I will post pictures if it ever stops raining.

Speaking of rain, my son got my Father's Suburban stuck yesterday and yes, I pulled it out with my newly acquired Bronco :excl:

First question of many more to come....looking to replace the low back seats for high back, what series and year of trucks seats are compatible?

Thanks and looking forward to spending sometime searching and reading this forum.

Welcome to the Zone!!  Looking forward to the pictures.  All Bronco 80-96 seats will fit as well as F-150, 250, 350.  It may be necessary to drill some of the mounting holes when retrofiting to a earlier model year.  If you do, use large heavy duty sholder washers for reinforcement.  that will prevent ripping out of the floor in sudden stops.   Look at the mounting holes of the existing seats if that doesn't quite make sense.

Good luck,

:)>-

to ROCK,

WELCOME!

As Seabronc advised and other makes can be made to fit well;

I have a few such install Links in my archived site @ http://web.archive.org/web/20110704104455/http://www.broncolinks.com/index.php?index=312

In such 2 door veicles such as Infinity, Mustang etc, the flip/fold types are desirable for rear seat access

for ex., Installation Info (04 Expedition): "...put in seats outta an 04 expedition. They are very comfortable and the drives is power, but I had to make brackets for them. Worst of all, they don't fold forward so access to the rear seat is much harder..."
