So I've made the decision to go with the soft top and now I'm wondering what to do with my hard top. I really don't care to have a hard top on my truck. Question I have is if I ever decide to sell my rig will this be a large bargaining point? Me not having the hard top if I sell it. How important is it that I have the original hard top if I sell the truck one day?

Hey PJ,

Any time you have original parts for an older vehicle, it becomes more valuable. I doubt that you can get as much for the top selling it as you can increase the value when you sell the entire truck with the hardtop included.

Good Luck with whatever you decide.

Your pic shows a 1/2 cab..., is that correct..?

The 1/2 cab (tops) aren't as popular however.., it's like selling a house with a pool. Two diff. types of buyers.

"Question I have is if I ever decide to sell my rig will this be a large bargaining point?"

The short answer is;
NO.., except for those folks who live up in the North-Tundra..!!
