Good morning fellas I have narrowed down my light problems to the turn signal switch in the steering column> My question is what is the easy to remove the wires from the plug? Could I use an awl or ice pick?

hope that didn't sound stupid.

Ya.., it's been a while since I've done one but as I recall, they unplug one at a time.

A trick I used is to tie a string to the old wires to follow up thru the column. Then some elect. tape to hold the new wires in a small bunch.., then use the string to pull them on down & out the hole.

Also, I think the wires are color coded to match the plug. There's 4 styles of switch depending on yr. & auto or stick shift.
