1967* half-cab with 200-inch six (taken out of a Pinto). Blue, with yellow primer spots. Has shell-only camper. Not running (blown head gasket, I guess). The engine does turn over. It's worth working on, for sure, light/moderate rust. Has mostly been California/desert car, with some time in Idaho and Nevada. Three-speed manual transmission, Warn locking hubs. Three-tank setup gives you enough gas to get there, run around, and get back; they have senders and gauges on dash. Spare front driveshaft and sheepherder's jack. Still has vacuum wipers! Only basic AM radio. Has extra gauges (tach got stolen, though!). Heavy-duty rear bumper, needs some welding. Spotlight on roof. Bench front seat, upholstery's shot. Tranny is three-speed manual, column shift.

Has been sitting for ten years or so. Will definitely need tires, battery, purge fuel system. If you're looking for immediate transportation, this probably isn't your best bet.

Could be towed away, but I'd recommend trailering (tires have been sitting a long time).

I'm the sole owner, have clear title. It's not registered, but is "PNO," which means you won't owe back registration.

Need to clear out of the garage where it's living; price is $2,000 -- will be taking offers until then. Send me e-mail via this site.

NOTE: I am not interested in PayPal or cashier's checks, or arrangements involving shipping agents. I prefer to deal face-to-face in San Francisco.

Checking the VIN indicates is is a late 1966; but it was sold as a '67.

Vehicle is still available as of May 8.

Thanks! Those are good points.

I'm not sure what to ask in terms of price. Hoping for offers, but guess I'd take something in the $2,000 range, since it's not running.

RIght now pics are a problem. It's in a garage and surrounded by junk of various sorts. Part of putting it up for sale is clearing out the garage so I can get some pics.

I appreciate the suggestion, to be sure.

Here's a pic of Potatoes. Will try to get a side-view up soon.

Will throw in the jigsaw on the roof if you want it ;-) It does have a driver's-side mirror, it's just folded back. Also, it's NOT missing a left-front tire... the box of wire is just in the way; know it looks like it's held up with the jackstand, but not so.

Feel free to get in touch to ask questions, or make offers. I figure $4,000 is about fair.

Here are a few more pix of Potatoes

That swing-away mirror is the reason there's still a mirror attached. Comes in darned handy when squeezing through tight spots. Strictly manually-operated; none of those fancy automatic power-retract mirrors for ol' Potatoes!

Guess it might be time for another coat of primer.

Has padlock and hasp on tailgate. Camper shell door is missing external handle (thanks to some clown with a monkey wrench).

Been getting lots of hits from scammers and lo-ballers, but not much in the way of serious inquiries. But it's still available!

Ol' Potatoes has been sold!

New owner seems like an OK guy, and it may be on (or off) the road again.

Cheers, all!
