Help!!! eletrical issues

:blink:my 1996 ford bronco was working perfect until one of two things which were done at same time, 1st. i was installing a used cluster bezel that already had the rear window swith & 4x4 selector on it, once plugged in, i didnt notice any issues except that switch didnt work, while in the process of doing i also had a check engine light that had been on since i purchased it and finall broke out the scanner to check the codes, once checked i cleared to see how long till they popped back up but in doing. but right before we did the scanner i could not unlock my passenger door with remote or switch. when i would hit the lock button it would work, but when you would hit unlock, it would cause all lights to flash and not unlock the doors, also noticed the door chime quit, no dome lights coming on. also when i cranked the truck up the odometer was not showing my miles and when i tried to drive home it would not shift gears. please help, i have searched all topics and can not find a similar problem... :wacko: :angry: <_< [-o<

Sounds like either something didnt get plugged up completely or the switches arent right for the 1996, like the connectors are the same but the inside configuration of the switch is different. First thing i would do is undo the cluster bezel. Put everything back as it was and see if the problems go away.
