I am building a 4 wheel drive truck. The problem is that I want a ford f150 front end and a chevy s10 rear end. But I realized that wont work because of the gear ratios in the differential. But I figured if I got the right sized tires, than that would work. So how do I figure out the right sized tires?

you do relize that you can change gear ratios, also s10 bolt pattern is 5x 4 3/4 f150 is 5x 5.5. plus the axle widths will be about 5-8 inchs different from wheelmounting surfaces, you will need new rims. no ofense to your idea, but its not a very good plan of attack your better off with f150 front and rear axles, plus they will be stronger, the gm 8.5 is not very reliable.
