fuel tank in a 78

I have a '78 bronco that need a new gas tank, I think it is a 25 gal.(got it from my dad that is what he thinks) would like to know if I could put a 33 gal in instead.

My thinking is with new straps, and sending unit I can make it work but not sure. Any thoughts anyone can give would be a great help.

You hit it right on the nose.

It will work, with the right straps and sending unit.

If you use the same sender that a non-EFI Bronco with a 33 gal tank uses it should work just fine.
