New to restoring and have a '77. Having some problems. 1. Cannot seem to keep fuel flowing consistently into the engine. I can get it going for a couple of days and then it stalls out and won't start again 2. When I do get it running, after it's been running a while and heats up, it is a pain in the a.. to get started again. Kind of sounds like a dead battery and then it cranks. Any suggestions?

you may want to change fuel filter and/or fuel pump. (both can be done yourself). if its hard to start when its hot, it sounds like the choke is sticking in closed position or carburetor is flooded, or fuel may not be reaching carb. (goes back to filter/pump). this may not be the problem but it wouldnt hurt to change air filter too. you can also learn more about the 66-77 EB is to go to local part store and purchase either the chilton or haynes repair manual, lots of info.
