I found a great deal on a 2007 5.4 with the computer and wiring harness. I was wondering is anyone has tried this swap before? Any information would be great, if I need to go a diffrent direction, please feel free to set me straight.

I've seen a 2V 4.6L in an EB, and a 7.3L PSTD, but I dunno about a 5.4L...

That would be one heck of a project. Far beyond my capabilities. But I would be very interested in your results. Someone recently posted a simular build on here I think it was a 4.6 in a 78 Bronco. You might be interested in finding that article to help you with your swap.

I forgot that 4.6L I saw was SC.

Both it & the 7.3PSTD were daily-drivers.

HEY,
I DON'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 2007 AND 1999, BUT THERE IS A '71 BRONCO IN MY GARAGE WITH A 1999 5.4L OUT OF AN EXPEDITION. THERE WAS A GREAT DEAL OF MODS TO BE MADE. I USED EVERY THING I COULD FROM THE EXPEDITION, HARD WORK BUT WELL WORTH IT!

Hello,
In response to the picture comment, i will post some of the mods needed for me to fit a 5.4 triton in a '71 bronco, but before that I would recommend trying to use a different tranny and transfer case. That is where all the major mods were found. I had to completely change my driver side frame rail to fit the tranny and transfer case, so that the body would sit down low enough. The hood will need to be modified because the motor sits 4" to 6" above the fenders. I guess the pictures will show more than i can list.
THANKS,
Brent

Lots of 351 W in EB ran Baja @ the beginning. Some now run the rocks n mud round USA. Matt MINOR HAS AN ANTIQUE W/shock absorber equiped cage from that early era in NC.
