Can anyone help identify the front end I have on my 67? The tag on the differential says "C6TA AC 2760 3 4.10".
This was a gift to my girlfriend and all of the gaskets are leaking. I would like to replace as soon as possible.
Thanks.

Hi there, I can offere some help. The C6TA is the prefix part # C6 being the year 1966, the last # 4.10 is meaning a ratio of 4.10. The 67 should have a dana 30 and there is just one gasket there you said they are all leaking, do you mean the seals too? You can take off the cover from the differential and just use silicone to seal it back, bout a 1/4 inch bead. reg 80/90 W gear lube and clean off the others and look at them to diag. there are pinion seals and inner and outer axle seals too. Good Luck and GOD BLESS YA!!

Should be a Dana 30 axle. Ford didn't start putting D44s under EBs until 71. The 30 is more rounded than the 44 is. The Dana 44 looks like the attached picture...

Wipe it clean & re-torque the diff. cover bolts...may be all it needs there.
If the pinion seal is leaking (up by the U-joint)....R&R that seal...pretty easy..

You can look at the steering knuckles. If you have king pins it's a D30! Check the front ends in the Wild Horses Catalog they illustrate both.
