I have a 72' bronco that has stock power steering from the 73-75 years. Rag joint in the middle and everything. I am looking to pick up the Steering column from Bronco Graveyard #17092. The box is in good shape as is the lower shaft. Do I have to get the lower shaft to make this column work with my power steering? I'm assuming I can hook up the new upper tilt column to my existing lower shaft at the rag joint. I'd rather not pay the extra 275 bucks if I don't have to as I have two shafts, the other coming off my 74' Looking for any input. Thanks in advance.

Never done the tilt setup, but your absolute best bet is to call JBG. They look like they are selling the Flaming River Tilt column that Wild Horses sells. If it were me & by looking at the extra shaft, I would order the column first & see if it will work without the other shaft

the column that jbg sells is an IDIOT column. i called them for help when i put mine ws trying to get the column shifter and the trans linkage aligned and they didn't have any info on it. stated they haven't put any on. this was as of 2 weeks ago. it appears that the stock rag joint set up will work. i opted for the heavy duty steering linkage. made it easy to hook up.
