Just like the topic says, I was driving my truck around yesterday, and today it would not start. I pulled out three plugs and grounded them against the block to see if I had spark. The plugs were pretty wet, but had no spark when the engine cranks over.
I just bought the truck a month ago, and have not bought a service manual for it yet.
Any places I should check that would kill spark on all cylinders?
Bronco recently had a mildly built 429 installed in it. I do not know if the ignition system was swapped over from the orignial 400 that was in the truck, or if it is even compatible.
Any input is greatly appreciated. The weather is perfect right now here in Phoenix, and I'd love to be driving the Bronco around.

89 fullsize with 95 front end swap.
460 C6 D60 front, 10.25 rear 4.10 gears
3 inch body lift, 4.5 inch lift from 1 ton swap.

If you dont know what you have how can anyone on here help you over the internet. Your first step is find out what you have for an ignition box. What did it come off of.

I understand this is a free site. I practically moderated a "Help me fix it" section on Sportbikes.net for a long while, and I tried to be there to answer questions the best I could, as motorcycles and ATV's are my area of expertise.
I don't know a whole lot about my truck, as I just bought it. That's why I joined this website, so I could get some helpful pointers, as well as being able to help others when I can.
Anyway, it looks to be a stock duraspark ignition box, with a stock looking distributor.

Does it look something like the one below? If so here is a Duraspark II diagram The problem could be either the ignition module or the pickup coil in the distributor. Also attached is a troubleshooting procedure for a Duraspark II system.

iam new to site but have owned alot of fords .i would check module as these get hot and give up .if u replace it put some washers under it to get it off fender and let air under it.good luck
