Hi guys,

I've been reading through the recent posts in the forums and I've seen & read so much cool stuff. I REALLY liked the vent windows and what looked like sliders that Broncobill78 has in his truck. Where can I get a set ? I've never seen them before so I'm wondering if they're stock or aftermarket and whichever they are how or where can i get some ? I have an 87' but will the side glass from a 78 or 79 top fit mine ? I'd LOVE to have side glass that I could open for a breeze. I drive to work with a few other guys and it would be great to be able to move more air through the truck. ARE those actually sliders in there as well or is it just several small pieces of glass instead of the big single piece I have in mine ? Even without sliders just having vent windows there would be killer. This is a really GREAT site and I hope someone can help me with this, I'm going to have a LOT more questions when I finish reading through the archives.

You should be able to get them at LMC Truck mag, or lmctruck.com they are $399.00 pair I'll look when I get home and tell you if they are different. I'm going to get them for my 95.

http://lmctruck.com/icatalog/fd/t.asp?page=12 there you go that should be everything you need.
Thanx for the link. I guess if just the straight slider is what's available then it'll be better than nothing but I *really* liked that little vent window he's got there. Don't get me wrong, the sliders are great and just being able to open up SOMETHING in the cap will be nice but the front vent windows would have really moved some air, especially at speed. Bing able to angle part of the window out into the airstream really forces a lot more air in and moves it around, but like I said, if it's the only deal in town then I guess that's what I'll have to grab. Once again, Thanx for posting the link. I've been looking for a few days and hadn't been able to find even the slider.

Since nobody replied to it I'm guessing that the windows from a 78/79 won't fit into my 87' cap huh ? Well, even if they do I've been admiring Broncos since I was a lil' kid and until Broncobill78 posted pics of his I'd never even SEEN that vent window thingie and didn't know it existed. Hey Bill, any chance those are custom or are they stock ?

Yeah I know what you mean about the angled vent on the bi pass sliding windows. It would be really great for air flow like our front ones are. I've looked like you and these are the only ones I have found so far. I'm still excited about them. I am kinda worried that if I buy them that the next day I'll see a really nice STC top on ebay and will have wanted to spend the money for that. It would be just my luck that would happen. haha. good luck buddy. happy thanksgiving.

To the best of MY knowledge they were stock. I know that *I* sure didn't install them and no, I'm pretty sure the windows won't swap although to be honest I never measured them to see.
