I found this box in my shop. I don't remember buying it or have a clue where it came from, but its been hiding under a shelf awhile!

I tried what i could on google but am coming up with nothing. Im hoping someone here has a resource they can run the old part number on the box through or possibly know what it is just by looking at it.

Thoughts?

Man, what a list!

I cant find that exact number and it appears the "4204" bit is a universal code for rearend diff case? Looks like various versions of it fit nearly every truck/van model.

I may have to take the photo to the dealership and have them run it.

The best I can come up with is 1972
F series or bronco. 4204 is fords base part number for a diff case.
No luck on the actual diff so far, its not a 9”though (no third bearing on the pinion
Ill keep digging
Cheers
