Auto push button transfer case will not engage

I wanted to share a problem I had, do not know if it has been covered before (most likely). The transfer case would not engage , when I pushed the button it would light up and i could hear the motor working on the transfer case but would not stay engaged in 4x4 . What I found out was if the control box behind the passenger toe panel did not get the signal that the transfer case was in the correct position it would go back to the 2 wheel drive position , the problem was corrosion on the control box electrical connector, I cleaned the connections and it works as it should now.
