Transfer case ? Transmission ? Rearend problem ? - Please help transfer case trans rearend problem ?

Hi any input or help ? I would be so greatfull !
Ok I have a 1994 bronco xlt automatic push bttn 4x4. 5.8 - 1356 electric transfer case

Here is my problem :

when I'm at a complete stop , and start to drive (Frorward or reverse )I feel light bump or knock. In drive it reminds me of a broken motor mount or loose part moving into place. I can feel a thump right at the trasfer case area and can see it move up and down a bit when it does it. Also if start off slow it will not do it , only if you step on it a bit.
When I come to a complete stop it does it again , but when in nutral and I stop it does not do it.
Now once I'm up to speed it drives fine no problems. It will shift hard at times . It feels like the body is loose from the frame and or motor but all bushings are good .

Also in nutral I can turn the drive line about a 1/2 turn or so By hand and I do hear some clicking in the tcase, is that normal ?

Both the 4x4 and Low range lights on the dash work and both ingage ok. But there is some clunks . Breaks, ujoints, bushings look good. This truck has 138,000 on it it's very clean and no other problems so far.

94 Bronco - My new truck

http://broncozone.com/forums/index.php?autocom=blog&blogid=194&showentry=46

This is my first time doing a blog it dosn't seem too hard hopefully i do it correct. I bought this 94 bronco for $200.00 the tailgate didn't open, the tach, didn't work, neither did the door locks, and it wouldn't go into 4 wheel drive...oh it also needed a new temperature cable.......everything is fixed now except for the tach , and the exhaust(hopefully the heat works too )....the fenders are rusty but the core body and frame is solid....if the heat works when i get the engine hot then all i have to worry about is the exhaust (the donut is blown out at the manifold)...The interior is in almost perfect condition.....My neighbor who i got it from says there is something wrong with the engine....says it won't strand me but it will run real bad.......i have yet to see this problem when i do ill post and hopefully someone can help me track it down

pvarnhagen's Blog - 94 with 302 limmited acceleration.

http://broncozone.com/forums/index.php?autocom=blog&blogid=188&showentry=44

I purchased a 94 with a 302. while in park i depress the accelerator and there seems to be a hessitation until i mash it all the way down. meaning as i slowly press down the rpms get to about 2 to 2500 and hang there while i continue to press the gas dow and then finally the engine revs up. while driving the truck barely accelerates. I have to lay into the gas in order to get up to a reasonable speed. i noticed that at intermittent tims as i let off the gas the trans would fully lock in for a moment and i would feel a slight jolt forward. trans fluid is dark. allready cleaned the cats out. fuel filter looks brand new. Any thoughts?

I just bought a 95 5.8 XLT Bronco, stoked! Need to add a muffler. the exhaust is cut about mid-way. i'd like to start from there instead of adding a completely new exhaust system. I believe I can do this. What type of muffler would give me the best performance and sound at a reasonable price.

Thanks

Elmo's Blog - Who's Listening ?

Well what is a blog seems like it is a conversation with ones self in which you hope someone is listening or cares. Like a diary that you want someone to read. What ever . Well it looks like my attempts to aquire the Bronco that i wanted have been shitcanned. Due to the owner having pawned the title and not paying for it. I signed up here on the Zone in prep for getting this beastly project with grand ideas of how ELMO would look upon completion. I have worked on fords all my life even spending about five years at a dealership. After learning i couldnot work fast enough to make the money to pay the bills.I decided I would seek other job experiences and turn wrenches for fun. I like it soo much better this way.i work on them when I want and can break from it for days if i need to so as to not get pissed and dread a job.
I have seen so many things ,in ways that I had not thought about before ,on this site and have (at least i think i have ) helped with a few problems. I read the new post daily and can get engrossed in the post to the point that i loose track of time, the wife loves that. Well gotta go work things to do L8R
