I replaced the fuel pump truck wont start now checked fuses they look good and checked if the fuel pump relay was tripped its not. I can not here the fuel pump turn on. Next problem ford has the stupid disconnect on there fuel lines The line that goes from the fuel filter to the fuel pump is messed up the little metal pieces in the quick disconnect pulled out on both sides. Went to a Ford Dealer today they said that the lines have been discontinued. Besides going to a junk yard anybody know where I can find them Just spent gobs of money to redo the motor and got a truck that cant move.

Sorry ... can't help with the disconnect, but did you check your inertia switch (fuel pump safety shut off) on the driver's side firewall under the dash?

Thats the enertia switch, the relay is a different component altogether. it is under your hood. they go all the time, I would check that

If you can't hear the fuel pump run, I'd double check your electrical connections

How to test your fuel pump relayThe fuel pump relay (at least on a '90) is on the driver's side by the wheel well, under a black plastic protector.

Do you mean the stupid metal ring-with-fingers things that goes inside the connection? I had to go to 3 flaps, but I finally found them at advance auto (my bronco doesn't use them, thank goodness, but my sisters explorer does)

Problem fixed. After cutting a hole in the bed so I did not have to drop the tank again, Me and a friend tested the butt connecters it was a bad connection between the sending unit and pump.

I assume you probably found them at Advance. As I recall, the package was under $5 for I think 3 or 4 of them. Hanging down one of the rows with all the miscellaneous connector type parts.
