Hi guys , I used to read the forum but now I´m registered.

I´m needing help with 4" lift kit.I have the TTB drop brackets and the extended radius arms.

I was thinking to get Bilstein 5100 shocks (4 of them) but I don´t now how to choose the coil springs wacko.gif wacko.gif wacko.gif .

I want to keep the nice ride cos wheeling places are 300 miles away or more by highmay.....

Deaver are 5.5"
....softer, longer travel...
Would they fit with 4" drop brackets??
Are too soft for highway(80mph)??

Other 4" coils...Rancho, Tough Country, etc.

I would like to know your personal experiences about them, and what are the differences between...

Regards
Henry

You should use ttb coils springs for a 4" lift kit.

hey henry,

i have a 6" lift in my truck but i use the bds springs

i daily drove my truck for the first little bit and never had any issues with quality of ride. maybe look into some pricing for them as well

with the bilstein shocks i would reccomend them if you are hoping for maximum flex (well as much flex as you can get out of a ttb'd front end)

other wise you will be fine with saving yourself some money and just matching the shocks with which ever coil springs you decide to use

Hi Miss Kitten, Your BDS is the most better recomended kit as far as I heard and a little more expensive than others but it worth it.I´m not getting a full kit cos importing it it would be very expensive...a double or a little more than the original price.
I made a set of 4" drop brackets, I could build another for 5 or 6", buit a set of extendet radius arms....so I need the shocks and coil springs.
The idea is put the Deavers TTB 5,5" coils, but if necessary I would relocate the coil bucket(or build new and stronghest ones) to match the 4" brackets and install a set of 6" Bilstein 5100 shocks relocating the mounts and bump stops to match the 4" lift....I think it would be very flexible without going with a 6" lift.

I know is possible, I just wanted to know if someone did it before......
