Hey guys. I picked up this 89 xlt as a parts truck, mainly for the doors/tailgate, seats and windshield. This truck came from Chicago and I was told it was a plow truck. It was put on the road in 04. The guy i got it from told me he put $1500 worth of parts into the truck to drive it from Chi, down here to VA. He told me He redid the entire ac system, new compressor, condensor etc... also he said he did brakes(some of the brake lines look good), the exhaust system and a few other things like power steering pump and gear box(this is all second hand info). He bought the truck for a parts truck as well but needed it after all. He drove the truck in 05 but parked it in 06. It didnt run until i got a hold of it a few weeks back but once i sorted a few things out it fired up with no real problems(iac needs to be replaced)

So here is what it has...

EFI 5.0 with 163k miles(i think). Auto(havent crawled under it yet, lots of bees) which i think is an e40d. its got auto hubs and push button 4x4, dont know the tcase but im guessing bw1345 was behind those. Dual shock front.

I posted it here because it comes with a clean title so it may be of use to someone.

I am planning on cutting up the body but if someone is interested in the whole truck I wont cut anything(speak fast).

It starts, runs and drives but it I wouldnt feel comfortable with everything as is because of the time it sat.

here are some pics

This is looking inside the rear wheel wells looking forward.

here is what the floor looks like:(

So to clarify things in a nutshell. I am taking the doors, tailgate, windshield, seats and most of the interior trim(dont need the dash or headliner or trim pieces for the top).

Whats left?

A running truck with no windsheild, doors, tailgate or seat:)

I dont want to part it out because at the moment it still starts, runs and can be moved around/up onto a trailer so id like to try and sell it as is for the moment so please dont ask me to pull this or that(yet).

Asking $500obo, if you want some of the stuff i mentioned im taking we can negotiate, just ask.

let me know if you want more info/pics or even a video of it running.

thanks

EDIT: Im located in Blacksburg, VA 24060
