Hi all,

I have a 1980 XLT that needs a new home. I got the truck from a buddy who was down on his luck and needed cash., I bought it to use a dive truck, and have been slloooowly working on it, but I have to let it go due to a move. I'd hate to see it got to a donation or wrecking yard, but I have to get it gone.
It's a 1980 XLT, 351 W/a C-6 that I had rebuilt. While I had the tranny out I did both drivelines W/ new U-joints. I then put a new 3" exhaust from the new (2) cats back. I completely redid the brakes (wheel cylinders, calipers, drums, rotors, master and the vacuum booster, as well as pads and shoes). Then I moved onto the charging system... you get the picture. It has had the top off but it doesn't leak, power rear works. it has a roll bar bolted in behind the front seats. I currently have the interior mostly removed, I was intending on line-xing the whole thing but never got around to it. I do have the captins chairs(armrests on both sides) and the roll-away back seat, but they are "vintage" AKA Brady bunch. It is an unoriginal two tone , not in great shape, but not bad maroon/black. see pics.
It's gotta go by Friday 8/1, if you need shipping I can arrange it. I'll let it go cheap so I don't have to donate it, but I gotta get at least $1000.00 for her. This is a running, driveable, insured truck if you can help her out speak up. Otherwise I'm gonna have to send her to the scrap heap, or some donation deal. Thanks for your time.. Yeas that's a spare on the Driver side rear, and yes I have the other matching wheel, tire. I highlited the dent in the front pass side... Let me know, eh joerocket@comcast.net

Not that I don't think it is worth what you are asking but, if it is going to the heap any way, maybe you should be more flexible on the price you are saying you gotta get. You won't get that from a junk yard. Any way, it looks too nice to go to a junk yard. Have you considered putting it on eBay?
