Selling point of a '95
It has the E4OD transmission which was introduced 1989, and had been improved over the years. By '95 it is a rock solid computer controlled four speed overdrive transmission. I am pretty darn sure that they didn't make any improvements in the '96 model.
The 1995 was the last year that one could pull DTC's Diagnostic Trouble Codes with the only tool needed is a four inch piece of wire. In 1996 one needs to buy sofisticated scanning equipment.
Older Broncos used a MAP sensor for setting fuel air mixtures. Your uses MAF. IT is arguably better, and lends itself better to performance upgrades.
